The Emirates Lions has announced the team to play against the Blues on Saturday at Eden Park. Several changes and positional moves were made to a team that disappointed last weekend against the Rebels which they lost 17-37.
Frans van Wyk, Hacjivah Dayimani and Ruan Vermaak will get their first start on tour when the Emirates Lions run out against the Blues in Auckland on Saturday.
In other changes, Willem Alberts moves to lock to partner with Marvin Orie. Vermaak, Dayimani and Schoeman form the new loose-trio.
Among the backs, Manuel Rass returns to action while Jamba Ulengo recovered sufficiently from a quad contusion to be included in the starting line-up.
Wandisile Simelane was not considered due to a Grade 1 MCL tear in the right knee. He will be reassessed in the coming week.
