Emirates Lions defence coach, Jaque Fourie echoed the sentiment of Lions flanker Jaco Kriel that the Emirates Lions side that lost to the Vodacom Bulls showed a complete lack of commitment and passion for the jersey.
Fourie said that defence is all about commitment and the number of missed tackles was disappointing against the Vodacom Bulls. According to Fourie, the coaching staff is working on the attitude and commitment of the players.
Fourie's reply to a question if one can teach commitment and heart was "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink".
