The Emirates Lions scored a 37-19 win against the Stormers in Cape Town tonight. It was clear that both teams did not play for four weeks resulting in a scrappy game by both sides. A match that will only be remembered for the 5 yellow cards.
The Stormers ended the first half the stronger side although they were behind with a single point, the Lions led 13-12 at that stage. The second half saw the Lions take advantage of the mounting Stormers' errors and scored an answered 17 points before a try a piece was scored by both teams.
