Emirates Lions Got Some Good News On Injury Front

Emirates Lions' Assistant coach Ricardo Loubscher was upbeat that several players will be available for selection for their Round 3 EPCR Challenge Cup game against Stade Francais Paris on Saturday at 16h00 (SA Time).

Loubser confirmed that flyhalf Jordan Hendrikse, midfielder Henco van Wyk, as well as Morgan Naude, could well be declared fit ahead of the weekend.

Ruan Venter, who is struggling with his groin is a little bit of concern regarding him, regarding Loubser who doubted if he will be ready for selection this weekend.

“On Henco, we have some good news,” Loubscher said. “We started with agility work and he joined us for units but the doctor Rob Collins and Pam Watts, our physio, will make a final call on Thursday.

“Jordy is also busy with straight-line running, and Morgan Naude is doing the same. That’s good news for us in terms of Morgan, Jordan and Henco.”
