DHL Western Province u/21 made two changes to their backline for the encounter with Vodacom Bulls u/21 in Pretoria on Friday.
Centre Damian Markus and wing Jared Africa come into the starting line-up for the North-South clash, which kicks off at 11h00 on Friday at Loftus Versfeld.
The forward pack that started in the 20-17 win against Hollywoodbets Sharks u/21 last week is unchanged as DHL Western Province u/21 look to make it back-to-back wins at the start of their campaign.
Markus starts at inside centre, with Joshua Boulle shifting to outside centre, while Africa comes in on the wing.
DHL Western Province u/21 Head Coach Jono van der Walt said that while happy with the win to start the season last week, his team knows that they will have to step up in a number of areas if they are to maintain winning ways.
“We showed some good character to come from behind and get the result last week, but we know that this team is capable of much more and we will need to show that on Friday.
“We have kept most of the combinations together and hopefully that continuity will see us produce a fluent performance away from home,” he said.
