DHL Western Province u/21 will host the Lions u/21 in the second semi-final of the 2022 SARU u/21 Cup.
The winner of today's clash will travel to Pretoria next week to play against the Vodacom Bulls u/21s who secured their place in a home final, beating the Leopards u/21s 29-06 yesterday in Pretoria.
Western Province u/21s only loss in this year was against the Vodacom Bulls u/21s in Round two of the competition in Pretoria. The Lions u/21s have lost to the Cell C Sharks u/21s in Round four. When the two teams met earlier in the season at Emirates Airline Park, DHL Western Province u/21 came away with a hard-fought 25-17 win away from home.
Although Western Province u/21 must be the favourites to advance to the finals, the Lions u/21s have shown during their last league games that they are improving with every match.
