It was confirmed that DHL Western Province and Springbok number 8 suffered a jaw injury in the Champions Cup win over La Rochelle last Saturday.
According to information, Roos suffered the injury after only 15 minutes of play and was already operated on Monday. It is expected that Roos should make a return in February 2024.
The DHL Stormers will host the Vodacom Bulls on Saturday in a Champions Cup fixture at 19:00 and will miss the carrying and breakdown dominance by Roos.
The Stormers have several options with Hacjivah Dayimani the favourite to replace Roos at eight. Youngster Keke Morabe's name is also mentioned by several.
