The Xerox Lions made their intentions clear with the selection of their u/21 squad to play against the DHL Western Province on Sunday at Emirates Park in the SARU u/21 Championship.
The Xerox Lions u/21 need to earn one bonus point and not lose with more than 37 points against their opponents of the day in order to play against the Blue Bulls in the final on Friday 30 October 2020.
The Xerox Lions only made one change to their starting line-up with Dameon Venter who is promoted from the bench in the place of Darnell Osowagu who drops to the bench. Venter will add a lot of power to the front row of the Lions who did not always convince against the stronger packs in this competition. Venter is seen by a lot of rugby analysts as one of the best hookers at his age group if not the best and are expected to make his debut at the Super Rugby Unlocked level sooner than later.
