The weekend of surprises and Eastern Cape provided their own. With Selborne just managing to scrape home against Queens last weekend, everybody looked at the Dale team to continue their good form since the Grey PE Festival and beat Selborne at home. Dale having to work very hard to win this one but walked off the field as eventual winners with 22-19.
Graeme College fought back after their disappointment against St Andrew's College and the victim was an unfortunate Port Rex. Graeme already leading 20-0 finished Port Rex of with a clinical win of 42-5. Next weekend Grey PE awaits Graeme and they will hope to carry this form into next week's match.,
Brandwag used it's physical approach to outplay Muir in the second half adding another sixteen points to their score with Muir only able to add five points. Brandwag seemingly getting their season on track with Muir's season going from bad to very bad. Framesby, however, is waiting for Brandwag this Saturday ?????
Framesby had an easy day against Nico Malan winning 72-29 with St Andrew's fighting off an early challenge from Queen's Collge who was still leading 15-14 at the break. The second half saw St Andrews's' backline stepping on the fuel adding another five tries after the break eventually winning 45-22. Hudson Park had an easy victory 24-7 against Pearson and Hangklip is having a difficult few weeks losing against Graaff Reinette Volkies 34-7.
