The South African Government has provided some hope for the sporting community when they announced in Government Gazette No. 11348 that limited spectators will be allowed back at sporting events with the publication of this Gazette.
Sporting events, including both professional and non-professional matches, by recognised sporting bodies, are allowed to permit a maximum of 750 persons or less indoors and 2000 persons or less outdoors. At least one and a half metres distance between spectators must be observed and not more than 50% of a venue's capacity may be used
