The Vodacom Bulls travelled to Cape Town in a devastating form, bullying the hosts with a brilliant display of disciplined and structured, 15 man rugby to win 40-21
Although Western Province got their hands on some ball to attack with during the latter part of the first half, however, it was the Bulls who were in total control for most of the first half. The Bulls secured a bonus point for scoring four tries within the first 28 minutes of the first half to lead 28-00 at the break.
The second half was much of the same as the Bulls kept to their structures and played Western Province off their feet. Western Province scored three tries during the last fifteen minutes to make the score more respectable.
