Clinical Blitzboks Stay Unbeaten With Clinical Win Against Spain

 

The Blitzboks were clinical against a willing Spain to win 19-12 in their second match of the HSBC New Zealand Sevens. The Blitzboks is unbeaten after two matches.

Spain was impressive in the first half keeping the Blitzboks scoreless, however, Impi Visser pounded onto a mistake by Spain with 40 seconds to go which created space out wide for Dlavon Blood to go over.

The Blitzboks were quick out of the blocks with Selvyn Davids scoring in the corner after outpacing the defenders from Spain. This was almost immediately followed by a try by Shaun Williams.

Spain opened their score with 95 seconds to go into the second half and added a second with the time up on the clock.
