Free State Rugby welcomes a new U.20 head coach to the Cheetah Family.
Henley du Plessis joins the Toyota Free State U.20 team after leading the Kabras Sugar rugby club in Kenya as head coach from 2018 to 2020.
From 2016 to 2018 he was the Boland Cavalier’s forwards coach.
Growing up in Worchester in the Boland, Du Plessis always loved the game and remember being next to the field when his father played club rugby.
Henley succeeds Izak van der Westhuizen as head coach of the Toyota Free State U.21 team. Van der Westhuizen is appointed as forwards coach of the Toyota Cheetahs, following Corniel van Zyl's departure to England.
