The Cell C Sharks did not expect the physical onslaught from the Scarletts at Hollywoodbets Kings Park and had to work hard and also needed some luck to beat their visitors with 37-20 for a full five log points.
The Scarlets started the game dominating the hosts in all the departments' bar come scrum time. Two tries disallowed sent the Scarletts into halftime well knowing that they "won" the first forty minutes.
The try of Aphelel Fassi put some fire into the Sharks that scored 17 unanswered points in twenty minutes to secure the win for their hosts that was dominated physically by the Scarlets. The Sharks scored the bonus point try in the 87th minute of the game.
