The kick-off time for Saturday’s Carling Currie Cup fixture between the Toyota Cheetahs and DHL Western Province in Bloemfontein has changed
The clash at the Toyota Stadium will now start at 16h30 – instead of the initial time of 19h00 – in line with the adjusted Level 3 lockdown regulations announced on Monday night.
The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture confirmed on Tuesday that professional sport may continue, although all matches have to be concluded by 20h00 in adherence with the nationwide curfew of 21h00.
Two matches on Saturday will now start at 16h30 and both will be broadcast live on SuperSport.
The clash between the Toyota Cheetahs and DHL Western Province will be on the SuperSport Grandstand and Rugby channels (201 and 211), while the match between the Cell C Sharks and Tafel Lager Griquas in Durban will play out on SuperSport’s Action channel (210).
The game between the Phakisa Pumas and Xerox Lions in Nelspruit will continue as scheduled at 14h00 and will be broadcast live on the SuperSport Grandstand and Rugby channels.
