Canada Cruise To A Win Against Springbok Women’s Sevens

 

The Springbok Women's Sevens are still looking for their first win following a 26-07 loss to Canada in Perth, Australia.

Despite a good start by the Springbok Women's Sevens, Canada showed their speed to beat them out wide to take a 07-00 lead with four minutes still to go. Despite a much better second quarter of the first half the Springbok Women's Sevens still trailed 07-00 at the halftime break.

Unfortunately, the Springboks Women's Sevens defence let them down at crucial moments. Canada scored their second try to lead 12-00, before, the Springbok Women's Sevens, Zintle Mpupha stormed through the middle for their first try to trail 12-07. Canada scored a further two tries during the final minutes to win 26-04.
