Boishaai on a high after their victory against Grey College travelled to Rondebosch Boys High and did just what everybody expected from them. Rondebosch expected a lot from their team with a high number of players playing their second year for the 1stXV but unfortunately, their season is one off several losses this year.
Boishaai showed from the kickoff that they intended playing the same exciting brand of rugby that helped them in convincingly beating Grey College with Franke Horne showing his intend to just continue where he stopped in Bloemfontein. the first try came within the first two minutes of the game after great interplay by forwards and backs.
The second try in the sixth minutes, third in the eight minute, fourth in nineteen minutes, fifth in twenty-four minutes, a yellow card for Rondebosch. This may all sound like a very one sided game but apart from the scoreboard not lying the Bosch boys were not laying down and tried their best with the Boishaai defence not allowing them 1 cm.
Boishaai continued as they ended the first half with Boishaai scoring almost at will scoring in the second minute of the second half and in the fourth minute and unfortunately Boishaai showing no mercy for the boys of Rondebosch with the tries being scored at will. Rondebosch scoring a late consolation try just made the scoreboard not looking so bad.
During the second half, an image of a cat playing with an injured mouse came to mind. The cat allowed the mouse run around a bit and then at will struck injuring the mouse even further.
Boishaai at this stage a team with no immediate danger of losing their no1 status as the top schoolboy side in the country.
