The Blitzboks completely dominated England with a 38-0 after leading 19-0 at half time. Muller du Plessis scored a hat trick to add to his two tries in the first two games in Canada. South Africa ended at the top of Pool A after wins against Japan (12-0) and Argentina (17-5) before the win against England.
The Blitzboks now advance to the quarter-finals and will face the USA at 20:19 South African time later today.
