Blitzboks Win 13th Place Final Against Japan 7’s In Vancouver But ……..

 

The Blitzboks won against the Japan 7s in the 13th-place final of the HSBC Sevens Series and dropped to the 7th place in the HSBC Sevens Series Rankings.

A second disappointing weekend in the Americas resulted in the Blitzboks dropping to seventh place in the World Rugby HSBC Sevens Series which will force them to qualify for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

Zain Davids opened the scoring for the Blitzboks after 3 minutes of play, whereafter Japan scored their replay almost immediately. Two tries in the second half by Zain Davids and Mfuno Ndhlovu secured a win for the Blitzboks.
