Blitzboks dominated play against Nigeria in a quarter-final at the Rugby Africa Men's Sevens Olympic Qualifiers 2024 hosted in Zimbabwe. The Blitzboks won 27-00 and will play Uganda in the semi-final.
Blitzboks opened the scoring after only one minute of play and continued scoring at regular intervals. The Blitzboks led 17-00 at the halftime break. Nigeria had a better start in the second half with the Blitzboks only able to score their first and only try in the second half after five minutes of play in the second half. The Blitzboks moved onto the semi-finals with a good 27-00 win
