The Blitzboks qualified for the Cup playoffs after a beating Australia 19-12 after Dalvon Blood scored the winning try in the dying seconds of the match.
The Blitzboks will face Samoa in the final quarter-final tomorrow at 09h34 (SA Time).
Two early yellow cards were shown to Australia making it easy for the Blitzboks to score two early tries to take an early 12-00 lead. Australia scored a crucial try with time already up on the clock to narrow the gap to just 5 points. The first half was played at a brilliant pace with sometimes desperate defence from Australia preventing the Blitzboks from scoring.
Australia scored from the kickoff to level the score 12-12 and five minutes to go. Dalvon Blood outsprinted the Australian defenders out wide to score the Blitzboks' third try for an all-important 19-12 win that secured them a place in the Cup playoffs..
