Blitzboks Qualify For 13th Place Final After Win Over Canada 7s In Vancouver - The Blitzboks played Canada in the 13th-place semi-final and secured a good 31-14 win to qualify a place in the 13th place final against Japan on Monday at 00:57 (SA Time).
Blitzboks captain Siviwe Soyizwapi continue his great form in Vancouver when he burst through several tackles to score his seventh try of the weekend.
With three minutes left in the first half, Canada scored their first try to level the scores at 07-07.
The Blitzboks were going through the phases until Christie Grobbelaar found a gap to score the Blitzboks' second try. The Blitsboks went into the second half leading 14-00.
Canada was on the attack from a mistake by the Blitzboks at the kickoff and scored the equaliser with five minutes to go.
Impi Visser evade the Canadian defence and ran seventy meters plus for the Blitzboks' third try and take a five-point lead
Ricardo Duarttee scored the fourth and fifth try for the Blitzboks after beating a fumbling Canadian defence.
