Blitzboks Outplayed By France 7s In Toulouse

The Blitzboks opened their campaign at the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Toulouse with a 31-07 loss to France 7's.

The Blitzboks started the match playing constructive rugby, however, a missed tackle gave the French opportunity to strike from their half to open the scoring with an early try.

A yellow card to Ronald Brown made it easy for France to score an opportunist try to extend their lead to 12-00 after six minutes of play, which was also the halftime score.

France continued their dominance as they scored two brilliant tries to lead 24-00 with four minutes left to play in the second half.

With less than two minutes left to play James Murphy scored under the poles.
