The Blitzboks arrived at the National Stadium and the HSBC Singapore Sevens, on the back of an encouraging performance in Hong Kong last weekend, but still without a podium finish in their last three outings. Unfortunately, they lost 19-00 against Australia in their opening match of Pool A.
Australia scored three unanswered tries, led 05-00 at the halftime break and scored two tries within two minutes early in the second half to put the result beyond any doubt.
