Blitzboks faced Uganda in the second semi-final at the Rugby Africa Men's Sevens Olympic Qualifiers on Sunday In Harare, Zimbabwe. The Blitzboks continued their dominantion of this tournament and won 26-14 to secure their place in the final against Kenya who beat hosts Zimbabwe in the first semi-final.
Uganda put some early pressure on the Blitzboks, however, Zain Davids scored the first points of the match and the Blitzboks took the lead 07-00 after three minutes of play. Uganda hit back almost immediately to level the scores. Justin Geduld scored the Blitzboks' second try to take the lead 14-07 after six minutes of play, which was also the halftime score.
Uganda struck back with a try early in the second half to level the scores once again. However, Rosko Specman scored two tries within a minute, showing his pace and magic feet. The Blitzboks were back in the lead 26-14, which was also the final score of the match.
