Blitzboks Lose Four From Five In Hong Kong

The Blitzboks did not have a great HSBC Hong Kong Sevens and lost their last four matches in a row after going down to Argentina Sevens in the fifth-place playoffs by 12-17.

Argentina was clinical in the first minutes of the match and a show-and-go by Matías Osadczuk had him stroll over for their first try of the match with 4 minutes to go in the first half.

A great attack staring in their own half with JC Pretorius adding some individual brilliance led to Impi Visser scoring the Blitzboks' first try to go into the halftime break training 05-07.

Blitzbok Captain Siviwe Soyizwapi scored a long-distance try to give the Blitzboks the lead for the first time in the match.

Augustin Moyano scored Argentina's second try to level the scores and 10 seconds to go. Hesitation in the defence by the Blitzboks allowed Tomas Lizazu to score from the kick-off and seal the win.
