The Blitzboks continued their brilliant form in Sydney beating Uruguay 28-12. The Blitzboks are still unbeaten in Sydney and will play against the All Blacks at 06:49 (SA Time) on Saturday morning.
Uruguay opened the scoring after just two minutes of play. Uruguay started the attack from their own tryline exposing slack defence by the Blitzboks. Ricardo Duarttee strolled over the tryline of Uruguay to give the Blitzboks an early 07-05 lead. Shilton van Wyk took a quick tap in his own 22m and set Dalvon Blood away for the Blitzboks' second try. The Blitzboks led 14-00 at the halftime break.
Ricardo Duarttee scored from the kick-off with a brilliant individual effort, whereafter, Dalvon Blood outsprinted the Uruguay defence down the touchline and the Blitzboks led 28-05 with 4 minutes left to play. Uruguay scored a consolation try after the Blitzboks conceded several penalties on the way to their tryline. The Blitzboks deservedly won 28-12
