Aviron Bayonnais secured home EPCR Challenge Cup Top 16 advantage by beating Gloucester Rugby 55-17. Both teams qualified for the EPCR Challenge Cup Top 16.
After Charlie Chapman got Gloucester Rugby off to a great start with a try inside four minutes, Baptiste Germain hit back for Aviron Bayonnais six minutes later.
The French continued their momentum, scoring through Lucas Martin and Camille Lopez, leading 22-10 at the halftime break.
Federico Mori sliced through and sped to the corner for a super solo score from the halfway line to get Bayonne's bonus-point just three minutes into the second half, with both sides gunning for a win to secure a home knockout.
Baptiste Germain, Lucas Martin and Camille Lopez dotted down in the first half before tries from Federico Mori, Facundo Bosch, Cheikh Tiberghien, Cheikh Tiberghien and Giovanni Habel-Kuffner powered them to victory.
Cameron Jordan replied for Gloucester as they also secured knockout qualification with Scarlets in Pool 3.
