Australia ran in eight tries this afternoon to condemn Wales to an 11th consecutive defeat. Australia cruising to a 52-20 win.
The first fifteen minutes was an arm wrestle, with Australia dominating the physical exchanges.
Australia, once again got into double figures of phases as they hit the Welsh twenty-two. Down the right, Nic Wright fakes the pass to his right and beats Blair Murray with a step to the inside, which allows him to go through for the first try of the match.
Four minutes later Australia picked up a loose ball from inside their half, and lock Nick Frost ran 50 metres out to score Australia's second try to extend their lead to 12-00.
Three minutes later, Australia won the lineout and set the maul, which Wales could not stop. Matt Faessler scored Australia's third try in ten minutes of play to extend their lead to 19-00.
Wales responded immediately when Aaron Wainwright bulldozed his way over for their first points of the match. Gareth Anscombe added two converted penalties to cut Australia's lead to 19-13 going into the second half.
Following the yellow card turned red to Australia's Samu Kerevi, hooker Matt Faessler scored his second try of the match off the back of maul to extend Australia's lead to 26-13.
Minutes later Australia's Matt Faessler scored his third try, again off the back of a maul to extend their lead to 33-13 and twenty-seven minutes to play in the second half.
Wales were on the attack when Australia's fullback Tom Wright intercepted a pass and ran seventy meters for his second try of the match. Australia led 40-13 with seventeen minutes to play in the second half.
Australia received a warning for their discipline and Wales took a quick tap five meters out. A brilliant pass with soft hands by James Botham put Ben Thomas in the gap who bulldoze his way over for Wales' second try.
Australia were closing in on 50 here when Len Ikitau stepped past defenders to score their seventh try, extending their lead to 47-20 with five minutes to play.
Australia was not done yet and attacked from within their twenty-two and Tom Wright scored his hat trick to secure a 52-20 win.
