Affies one of the top rugby schools in South Africa and will want to settle a score against who have beaten them in 2011 with 25-22. Noord Kaap definately one of the top schools in Kimberley and the Northern Cape.
Affies set up camp for 15 minutes in Noord Kaap's 22m and could only score one try to take a 5-0 lead with 20 minutes to go. The rest of the first half was an arm wrestle between two teams that were willing to run the ball from anywhere on the field. Noord Kaap slowly clawing their way into dominating the game.

Affies controlled the game from the start of the second half and dominated Noord Kaap in especially scrums. Affies Flanker Louwrens de Lange collected a ball that Noord Kaap could not control at a scrum and stormed over the try-line to score Affies secound try (12-0).
Noord Kaap used their forwards to great effect to put pressure on the defence of Affies. Affies absorbed the pressure and kept Noord Kaap scoreless. With 14 minutes left on the clock Affies turned over a ball in their own 22m and attacked with purpose. Dillan Smith scored Affies 3rd try to stretch their lead (19-0).
Noord Kaap scored their first try with four minutes to go after some splendid work by their outside backs (19-07)
Affies in a controlled and patient effort to outplay Noord Kaap for a good win. Affies' defence the reason for their win.
