EG Jansen started like a house on fire and showed that they are intent on winning this match. EG Jansen dominated with their fiery play and were first to score a converted try after nine minutes of play to lead 07-00. Paul Roos could only score their first points with a try after eighteen minutes of play to level the scores. Paul Roos added seventeen unanswered points via three tries to extend their lead to 24-07 at the halftime break.
The second half started with both teams scoring two tries, and Paul Roos leading 39-17 with five minutes to play. EG Jansen set up camp in Paul Roos' territory, however, Paul Roos attacked from within their territory to seal a 44-17 victory, for which they were made to work extremely hard for.
Jeppe 27-42 Oakdale
Oakdale scored a great try after only seven minutes of the start of the match to lead 07-00; thereafter, Jeppe set up camp in Oakdale's half, and Oakdale could only score their second try with two minutes to play in the first half. Jeppe converted two penalties to go into the second half, trailing 06-14.
Oakdale took a quick tap ten meters from Jeppe's tryline and crashed over to extend their lead to 21-06 following seven minutes of play in the second half. Jeppy attacked from the kickoff and patiently built their attack to score their first try after fifteen minutes of play in the second half. Oakdale still led 21-13. Oakdale added three tries during the next fifteen minutes to extend their lead to 42-13, whereafter Jeppe confirmed that the fight is not over until the fat lady sings, scoring two unanswered tries during the final five minutes of play.
Marlow 06-08 Glenwood
Affies 74-14 Boland Landbou
It took Affies five minutes to score the first try, whereafter they ignored the defence of Boland Landbou to score thirteen tries. Boland scored a try in each half.
Northwood 19-12 Drostdy HTS
Diamantveld 38-31 Maritzburg College
This match was played at a frenetic pace, with Maritzburg College going into the second half leading 24-19. The "madness" continued in the second half with Diamantveld winning their first match at 2025 Wildeklawer.

Monnas 00-83 Paarl Boishaai
What a horrific day to witness the Wit Bulle being humiliated. We can blame scouting, coaching, the tooth fairy and the easter bunny for this horror show, and most probably all of them are guilty depending on the angle you are looking at it. Boishaai led 52-00 at the halftime break and won 83-00.
Rustenburg 33-00 Welkom Gim
Noordheuwel 35-33 Outeniqua
Outeniqua scored two tries during the first fifteen minutes of the match to lead 12-00; however, thereafter, Noordheuwel slowly wrestled the momentum from Outeniqua and scored a try off a five-meter lineout maul to trail by five points and thirteen minutes to play in the first half. Five minutes later, Noordheuwel converted a penalty and scored their second try with three minutes to play. Noordheuwel led 17-12 at the halftime break.
Brilliant individual effort by Outeniqua's flyhalf secured the first try of the second half after just five minutes of play in the second half. Outeniqua's lack of discipline allowed Noorheuwel to crash over from a five-meter lineout maul, and Outeniqua earned their second yellow card. Noordheuwel led 22-19 with twenty-five minutes to play in the second half. Noordheuwel continued their dominance and increased their lead to 29-19 with fifteen minutes to play. Thereafter, the ding-dong battle continued, and Outeniqua added two tries to Noordheuwel's one try. Noordheuwel edged the boys from Outeniqua 35-32.
Waterkloof 17-17 Stellenberg (HT)
Waterkloof started like a house on fire, with the brilliant defence from Stellenberg keeping them from scoring. Waterkloof could only add points after fifteen minutes of play, when they scored off the back of a five-meter lineout-maul to lead 07-00. Stellenberg attacked from the kick-off and scored a try that started in their half to level the scores, 07-07. Waterkloof patiently rebuilt the pressure on Stellenberg's defence, and with five minutes to play in the first half, they decided to convert an easy penalty.
It took Waterkloof five minutes from the restart of the match to score their second try. Thereafter, Stellenberg patiently built their attacks, and following wave after wave of attacks, Stellenberg scored in the corner to cut Waterkloof's lead to 17-12. With five minutes to play, Stellenberg launched yet another long-distance attack and scored a great try to tie the scores at 17-17. Stellenberg threw everything they had at Waterkloof's defence, however, the score stayed the same, with both teams deserved to win.
