The Lions team that travels to Eastern Province will give another host of young players the opportunity to showcase their talents when they face the EP Elephants on Wednesday afternoon.
The young Lions side is brimming with youngsters who caught the eye during the national Under 21 tournament that was held at Emirates Airline Park last year and coaches Mzwikhe Nkosi and Wessel Roux have full confidence in their charges.
Changes from last week are therefore not due to any players being demoted, but rather another opportunity to scrutinize and test everyone.
Lions: Divan Rossouw; Prince Nkabinde, Manuel Rass, James Mollentze, Ngia Selengbe; Tiaan Swanepoel, Dillon Smit; Ruhan Straeuli, Sibusiso Sangweni, Mark Snyman, Reinhard Nothnagel (capt), Ruben Schoeman, Wiehahn Herbst, Dameon Venter, Nathan McBeth. Replacements: Morné Brandon, Banele Mthenjane, Asenathi Nthlabakanye, Mandisi Mtiyane, Izan Esterhuizen, Morné van den Berg, Jordan Hendrikse, Luke Rossouw, Sibusiso Shongwe, Jarod Cairns
