The Stormers suffered a heavy defeat to Harlequins in the Investec Champions Cup last week and the potential Bok reinforcements offer boss John Dobson a glimmer of hope.
With a host of players currently sidelined and the depth of the squad being tested, the DHL Stormers took some hard lessons from their Investec Champions Cup clash with Harlequins in London.
On the injury front, things do look slightly better, with the Stormers confirming that several players are set to return before the end of the year.
Deon Fourie, Ben-Jason Dixon, Frans Malherbe and Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu will all potentially boost the Stormers for the SA derby at Cape Town Stadium against the Emirates Lions.
Manie Libbok and Ben-Jason Dixon will be reassessed on Thursday at the latest per HIA protocols.
However, Steven Kitshoff (neck), Evan Roos (shoulder), Dan du Plessis (knee), Ben Loader (knee), Keke Morabe (Leg Fracture) and Damian Willemse (groin) all continue their rehab and are scheduled to return to play in the new year.
