Schoolboy rugby is back, almost. We attended the Brandwag 7's brilliantly organised by Darryl Weir and his company Weir Sport Promotions. We missed rugby and the mammas' supporting their kids and mates. Definately a brilliant day.
Darryl and his team will be at Grey College this coming weekend and the week thereafter Heidelberg Volkies will be the host of the 3rd and final event of the 2021 season.
Garsfontein were the overall winner of the day beating Grey 2 19-10 in the final. Grey 1 placed 3rd after beating Middelburg 34-0. Monnas were the Plate winner beating Die Anker 15-12 while Kempton Park won the Shield 26-19 against Alberton. Ligbron Academy claimed the Shield with 47-00 against Rand Park.
Grey College u/15 took the title against Garsfontein with 28-19.
