Jeppe vs St John's

Jeppe will be on cruise mode this weekend when they host st John's.

The host only losses was against Ben Vorster with 34-19 and then the Affies game which they lost with 52-32 two weeks ago. Last Saturday they put the loss against Affies behind them and were victorious against a fighting Pretoria Boys High in Pretoria. Losing just two of their 15 matches Jeppe will be full of confidence.

St John's on the other hand have won seven of their 12 games but never managed to pick up momentum. Losses occurred during the whole season and coming off a big loss against KES last weekend of 59-10 it will be difficult for the boys of St John's to face Jeppe with any confidence.

Monnas vs KES

Monnas was the favorite for this clash before the whole Hans Coetzee saga erupted early Monday morning. Played sixteen games this season with losses against Paul Roos 11-14, Helpmekaar 15-30 and Oteniqua 25-40 and a draw against Selborne at Wildeklawer. After that we saw Monnas unbeaten for 5 matches including claiming the scalp of Glenwood last weekend. Add to that being crowned as the Tuks Super 16 champions one would think Monnas would be on a roll. But with Oom Hans now blaming parents for his dismissal one would expect that this brilliant team will be not firing on all cylinders.

KES on the other hand is not having a great season to put it mildly. I do not see them beating Monnas under any circumstances.

"Quagga on 10 June, 2016 @ Good luck for tomorrow’s Monnas vs KES battle in the outhouse  . I hope to attend the match. Guys I know KES will view this game as very seriously, but I wonder if Monnas is doing the same, given the fact that EGJ is looming just around the corner in a few days…."
"Quagga on 10 June, 2016 @ in JHB its the Monnas vs KES. Monnas at home should be too strong for a resurgent KES if Monnas decide to play their strongest team (or at least most of their first choice players). KES have a strong front row and their loosies aren’t bad, but could be found wanting in the locks. KES have the more exciting backline of the two, but that will be mitigated considerably if Monnas dominate as expected upfront."
"Quagga on 10 June, 2016 @ Stryd op #10 behoort interessant te wees. Post bietjie die spanlys van Monnas as jy die lys kry asb. Sal graag wil sien wie die gewonde leeu in die veld gaan stoot. KES sal nie kom om te poer poer nie. Daai manne raak al beter en beter maar behoort julle nie kopsere te gee nie."
"Roger on 10 June, 2016 @ – will be a tough old day out west – always is! KES has a very young team and very exciting backline so hopefully they move the big Monnas pack around the field and run run run with any and all possession they have!"

Other Fixtures

MenloPark vs Waterkloof

"Quagga on 10 June, 2016 @ PTA must be Waterkloof vs. Menlopark. Two of the strugglers this season (at their own exceptionally high standards) will be motivated to get one over their opposition and should be a very exciting contest."

Pretoria Boys High vs St Stitians

Oos Moot vs Midstream

Marais Viljoen vs Kempton Park
