Bethlehem Voortrekker wing Willie Naudé was in a try scoring mood as he bagged three of his side’s seven tries and flyhalf Louis Viljoen contributed 13 points with his boot after landing five conversions and two penalties.

From the outset, it was clear that Voortrekker were up for the challenge and ensured they ran Witteberg into the ground, especially in the second half when they scored 33 unanswered points.

The first half was a tight affair which saw Witteberg claim their only points of the match through a George Sperschott penalty. However, Voortrekker were in a points scoring mood and ensured an 18-3 half-time lead.

It was one-way traffic in the second half as Voortrekker put the hammer down on a wonderful performance. Witteberg had no answers to the Voortrekker onslaught as they conceded 33 points. Voortrekker claimed the FNB Classic Clash to continue their dominance over their rivals.
