The Eastern Cape is delivering weekend after weekend exciting rugby with big surprises thrown into the mix just for the fun of it. Eastern Cape's top tier schools must be the most competitive in all of South Africa.
In the big match of the day, Grey High travels to St Andrew's for a day of competitive rugby. Grey High is still unbeaten in 2017 but had to work very hard against a Queen's College team that everybody had written off before their match against Grey College, Grey scraping home with a 24-22 victory. St Andrew's who played against the Grey College slayer Selborne travelled to Selborne for a surprisingly easy victory of 26-5. St Andrew's also unbeaten in the Eastern Cape will host Grey High with one thing in mind - to become the King of the Eastern Cape.
Muir College hosts Graaff-Reinett Volkies and should be able to score an easy win and give some respectability to their results for 2017. Dale College hosts Kingswood with confidence as they won their last 6 matches in a row. Kingswood who's season was dealt another blow last weekend losing against Stirling 21-3 will certainly not have high hopes against these hard running boys from Dale College.
Graeme College will want to forget their "struggling to score" of last weekend against Hudon Park 12-12 and should have all the ammunition to deal with Nico Malan. Nico Malan won 60-0 against Otto du Plessis and will be a test for Graeme. Graeme will know they were in a battle but like I said before should win.
