Although there are still a few fixtures in midweek and a handful coming up at the weekend, Saturday really marked the official end of the main school season and we were treated to a delight that was every bit in keeping with the season that we have had so far.
Wales u/19 squad was trailing 17-28 at halftime but secured a victory with a spirited fightback in the second half. Wales was first to score when hooker Garin Lloyd scored off the back of a driven line-out, with flyhalf Josh Thomas adding the conversion.
The Australian Schools and Under 18 Team ran out clear winners on a wet, but firm artificial surface in Dublin against the Ireland u/19 side. This was their third consecutive game on these shores following a 34-15 win over Munster and a 22-17 defeat to Ulster in Belfast on Tuesday.
